Please
note that the Lodge safaris can either depart from Nairobi
or Arusha. Departure from Nairobi can either be in the morning
with lunch in Arusha before commencement of safari or a night
can be spent in Arusha before commencing the safari the next
day in the morning. There is also an option for late arrivals
in Nairobi to leave in the afternoon (1400 Hrs) and proceed
to Arusha for dinner and overnight and commence the safari
in the next day in the morning. Overnight accommodation and
meals in Arusha is not included in our costs but we can suggest
hotel accommodation and quote for the same.
CATS 414 – 3 Days Lake
Manyara/Ngorongoro
Day 1 Nairobi/Arusha
– Lake Manyara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Arusha
through Namanga boarder. On completion of Customs formalities
you will proceed to Arusha where you arrive for lunch at the
Novotel Mt. Meru Hotel. After lunch you will drive through
Maasai Steppe to arrive in Lake Manyara National Park where
you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. You will check
into the Lake Manyara Hotel late in the evening for dinner
and overnight.
Day 2 Lake
Manyara – Ngorongoro
After early breakfast you will proceed with picnic
lunch and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival
you will directly descend the Ngorongoro crater for a full
day of a game viewing. In the late evening you will return
for dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 3 Ngorongoro
– Arusha – Nairobi
After breakfast drive through Maasai villages and
the Meserani Snake Park to arrive in Arusha for lunch. After
lunch you will drive back to Nairobi where you arrive in the
late evening.
CES 416 – 4 Days Tarangire/Manyara/Ngorongoro
Day 1 Nairobi/Arusha
– Tarangire
Drive to Arusha for lunch. After lunch proceed to
the Tarangire National Park akin to the Tsavo National in
terms of the flora and fauna. This park was created in 1970
and covers over 2,600 sq. kms. The distinguishing feature
of this park is giant baobab trees, which dot the plains.
Game viewing will be en route to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for
dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Tarangire/Lake
Manyara
Early morning game drive in Tarangire. After breakfast
drive to Lake Manyara National Park with game viewing en route.
Lunch in Lake Manyara Serena Hotel. In the afternoon proceed
for a game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight in Lake
Manyara Serena Hotel.
Day 3 Lake
Manyara - Ngorongoro
After early breakfast you will proceed with picnic
lunch and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival

day of game viewing. In the late evening you will return for
dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 4 Ngorongoro
Another full day will be spent in the crater. Accommodation
will be in your lodge.
Day 5 Ngorongoro
– Arusha/Nairobi
After breakfast you will drive through Maasai villages
and the Meserani Snake Park to arrive in Arusha for lunch.
After lunch you will drive back to Nairobi where you arrive
in the late evening.
CES 418 – 6 Days Ngorongoro/Serengeti/Lake
Manyara
Day 1 Nairobi/Arusha
- Ngorongoro
We depart early from Nairobi to Tanzania, crossing
the boarder at Namanga where our Tanzania guide will meet
you. Drive on to Arusha for lunch and continue to the Ngorongoro
Crater. Arrive at the Wildlife Lodge built on the rim of the
crater and offering some breath taking views. Dinner and overnight
at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 2 Ngorongoro
Full day of game viewing down the crater floor with
picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight in your lodge.
Day 3 Ngorongoro
- Serengeti
Breakfast then continue to Serengeti National Park
stopping at Ol Duvai Gorge, sight of famous archeological
finds by the Leakey family. Check in at Serengeti Serena for
lunch. Later in the afternoon you will proceed for game viewing
where large herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam the
place. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4 Serengeti
Breakfast then morning and afternoon game drive in
the Serengeti National Park famous for its annual migration
of wildebeest. Meals on full board basis at your lodge.
Day 5 Serengeti
– Lake Manyara
Early Breakfast then check out for Lake Manyara National
Park. Arrive at Lake Manyara Hotel for lunch. Later an afternoon
game drive looking for the famous tree-climbing lions. Dinner
and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel.
Day 6 Lake
Manyara – Arusha/Nairobi
Breakfast then check out and depart to Arusha arriving
for an early lunch and drive on to the Namanga border crossing
into Kenya on your way to Nairobi where you arrive late in
the evening.
CES 419 – 7 Days Tarangire/Ngorongoro/Serengeti/Lake
Manyara
Day 1 Nairobi/Arusha
– Tarangire
Drive to Arusha for lunch. Continue across the Maasai
Steppe to Tarangire National Park where you arrive for lunch
at the Tarangire Sopa. Afternoon game viewing will follow
later after lunch. Dinner and overnight in your lodge.
Day 2 Tarangire
– Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game viewing in Tarangire National Park
followed by breakfast. After breakfast drive to Gibbs Farm
for lunch and then proceed to the Ngorongoro Sopa for dinner
and overnight.
Day 3 Ngorongoro
After breakfast descend with picnic lunch to the crater
floor for a full day of game viewing. It is in Ngorongoro
where you have the best chance of seeing the endangered black
rhino. In the late evening return to your lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day 4 Ngorongoro
- Serengeti
After breakfast drive to the Serengeti National Park
with a brief stop in Ol Duvai Gorge for a brief history of
the discovery of " homo habilis". Proceed to Serengeti
Sopa Lodge with game viewing en route for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Serengeti
Full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National
Park. Full board arrangements in your lodge.
Day 6 Serengeti
– Lake Manyara
Your drive takes you south to Karatu and Gibbs farm
for lunch. Continue on to Lake Manyara National Park. Set
in the Great Rift Valley, the park is 325 sq. km, and the
lake, said to have been formed 2 – 3 million years ago
comprises of 229 sq. kms. Game viewing will be en route to
Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Lake
Manyara – Arusha – Nairobi
After breakfast drive back to Arusha via Maasai villages
and the Meserani Snake Park. Lunch will be in the Novotel
Mount Meru Hotel. After lunch you will drive back to Nairobi
through Namanga border.
